Remote Prop Trader - Birmingham, AL

Maverick Currencies, founded in 1997, is looking for individuals in the Birmingham, AL area interested in trading as independent contractors. This is a remote opportunity open to candidates with no prior trading experience. Training is provided to help new traders learn our approach to the markets before they begin trading on a funded account.

Role Overview

As a Remote Prop Trader, you will work independently, making your own trading decisions on a funded account. Maverick Currencies does not direct or supervise day-to-day trading activity. Traders are responsible for their own strategies, decisions, and outcomes. Schedules are flexible, allowing you to structure your trading hours around your own availability.

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. It is not salaried or hourly. Compensation is performance-based through a profit split ranging from 65% to 90%, depending on account structure and performance history. Profits are never guaranteed. Traders who are not profitable earn no income from this role. This opportunity is best suited for individuals who understand and accept that trading outcomes vary and are not assured.

Funded Accounts

Qualified traders may be offered access to funded trading accounts of up to $400,000, based on demonstrated skill and performance during training and evaluation.
