Forex & Crypto Trader - San Diego, CA

Maverick Currencies, founded in 1997, is looking for self-directed individuals in San Diego, CA to pursue an independent trading path in forex and crypto markets. This is an entry-friendly opportunity — no prior trading experience is required, and full training is provided to help you build the skills to evaluate for a funded account.

This role is built around flexibility. There is no fixed schedule, no clock to punch, and no manager reviewing your trades in real time. Many traders find a rhythm of watching the markets in the morning while the major sessions overlap, then stepping away for the rest of the day. Others prefer evenings or a split schedule. How you structure your trading day is entirely up to you, and the work is fully remote — trade from home, a co-working space, or wherever you focus best.

• Structured training to learn forex and crypto trading fundamentals, risk management, and strategy development
• The opportunity to trade a funded account of up to $400,000 upon meeting evaluation criteria

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor position — it is not a salaried or hourly role. Compensation is performance-based through a profit split ranging from 65% to 90%, depending on your track record and account tier. Profits are never guaranteed, and this role is not a fit for anyone seeking predictable income: traders who are not profitable earn no income from this role.
