FX Trader - Amarillo, TX

Maverick Currencies, founded in 1997, is looking for a motivated individual in Amarillo, TX to train as an FX Trader. This is a fully remote, 1099 independent contractor position built for people who want to develop a real trading skill set without uprooting their life or moving to a finance hub. You keep your home, your cost of living, and your community in Amarillo while building something that has no geographic ceiling.

No prior trading experience is required. We provide structured training to help you learn how currency markets move, how to read price action, and how to manage risk on your own schedule. Many of our most consistent traders started with zero background in finance and built their skills step by step through our program.

What You'll Do

• Complete a structured training track covering FX market fundamentals, strategy, and risk management
• Develop and refine your own trading approach at your own pace
• Trade on a flexible schedule that fits around your existing commitments
• Progress toward eligibility for a funded trading account of up to $400,000

Compensation Structure

This role is a 1099 independent contractor position. It is not a salaried or hourly job. Compensation is performance-based through a profit split ranging from 65% to 90%, paid out on trading profits you generate. Profits are never guaranteed, and traders who are not profitable in a given period earn no income from this role. This structure rewards consistent, disciplined decision-making over time.
