Funded Forex Trader - Cape Coral, FL

Maverick Currencies, a proprietary trading firm founded in 1997, is looking for self-directed individuals near Cape Coral, FL to trade the forex markets on funded accounts. This is a remote, independent contractor (1099) opportunity built around flexibility — not a salaried or hourly position. If you want a schedule that bends around your life rather than the other way around, this role is designed for that.

No prior trading experience is required. We provide structured training to help you learn the mechanics of currency markets, risk management, and trade execution. From there, you decide how your day looks: many traders focus on the morning market hours and keep their afternoons open for family, errands, or other work. Others prefer evening sessions. The markets run nearly around the clock, and how you structure your time is entirely up to you.

How the role works

• Complete onboarding and training at your own pace
• Trade on a funded account, with access scaling up to $400,000 based on demonstrated performance
• Operate independently — Maverick Currencies does not direct or supervise your day-to-day trading decisions
• Work from anywhere; this is a fully remote role, open to candidates based in or around Cape Coral, FL

Compensation

• Performance-based profit split ranging from 65% to 90%
• Income is earned only when trading is profitable — profits are never guaranteed, and traders who are not profitable earn no income from this role
• Structured as a 1099 independent contractor arrangement, not a salaried or hourly position
