Maverick Currencies, founded in 1997, is looking for motivated individuals in the Peoria, IL area who want to build a serious trading career without packing up for Chicago, New York, or any other finance hub. This is a remote, performance-based opportunity that lets you trade from home, on your own schedule, while keeping the lower cost of living that makes Peoria a smart place to build wealth rather than just spend it.

What the role involves

As a Funded Forex Trader, you'll gain access to a funded trading account of up to $400,000 after completing our training and evaluation process. No prior trading experience is required. We provide structured training to help you learn the mechanics of the forex market, risk management, and the habits that separate consistent traders from the rest. Once funded, you trade independently using your own judgment and strategy. Maverick Currencies does not direct or supervise your day-to-day trading decisions.

How you're compensated

This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not a salaried or hourly job. Compensation comes entirely from a profit split ranging from 65% to 90%, depending on your funded account tier and performance over time. All compensation is performance-based. Profits are never guaranteed, and traders who are not profitable earn no income from this role. This is a role for people who understand markets involve real risk and want to be compensated for skill, not attendance.
