Currency Trader - Miami, FL

Maverick Currencies, founded in 1997, is extending an invitation to Miami, FL area candidates interested in a self-directed currency trading path. This is a 1099 independent contractor position — not a salaried or hourly role — built for people who want to design their own trading day rather than fit into someone else's schedule.

How the Role Works

You bring the discipline and decision-making; we provide the training and access to funded accounts of up to $400,000. There is no prior trading experience required — our onboarding program walks you through the fundamentals, strategy frameworks, and risk concepts you need to get started. From there, how you trade, when you trade, and the pace you set are entirely up to you. Maverick Currencies does not direct or supervise your day-to-day trading decisions; you operate as an independent contractor charting your own course.

Many traders in this role favor mornings for active market hours, keeping afternoons open for family, errands, fitness, or simply logging off. Because the work is fully remote, you can base yourself in Miami, FL or anywhere else that suits your life, and adjust your hours around the markets you choose to follow rather than a fixed shift.

Compensation

Earnings are performance-based through a profit split ranging from 65% to 90%, depending on your track record and account structure. This is not guaranteed income — profits are never promised, and traders who are not profitable in a given period earn no income from this role. Your results reflect your own trading decisions and discipline over time.
