Remote Prop Trader - Salt Lake City, UT

Maverick Currencies, founded in 1997, is looking for individuals in the Salt Lake City, UT area to take part in our remote proprietary trading program. This opportunity is open to applicants with no prior trading experience. Structured training is provided to help you learn the skills needed to trade financial markets using a funded account.

About the Role

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. It is not a salaried or hourly role, and no base pay is provided. Traders work on a flexible schedule and make their own decisions when it comes to market analysis, trade timing, and strategy. Maverick Currencies does not direct or supervise day-to-day trading activity; traders operate independently once training is complete.

Compensation

Compensation is performance-based through a profit split ranging from 65% to 90%, depending on experience level and program track. Profits are never guaranteed, and trading carries inherent risk. Traders who are not profitable do not earn income through this role. This structure rewards results rather than hours worked.

Funded Accounts

Qualifying traders may be considered for funded accounts of up to $400,000, allowing them to trade with firm capital rather than relying solely on personal funds. Account size typically scales with demonstrated performance over time.
