Funded Forex Trader - Bakersfield, CA

Maverick Currencies, founded in 1997, is looking for individuals in the Bakersfield, CA area interested in becoming funded forex traders. This is a remote opportunity structured as a 1099 independent contractor position, not a salaried or hourly role. No prior trading experience is required; training is provided to help new traders learn the fundamentals and develop their approach.

The Opportunity

Traders who complete training and demonstrate consistent skill may be offered a funded account, with account sizes available up to $400,000. Traders make their own day-to-day trading decisions; Maverick Currencies does not direct or supervise individual trades. You manage your own process and are evaluated on your trading outcomes.

Compensation

Compensation is performance-based through a profit split ranging from 65% to 90%. There is no base pay. Profits are never guaranteed, and traders who do not generate profits earn no income from this role. This structure rewards skill and consistency rather than hours worked.

Schedule

This position offers a flexible schedule. Work is done remotely, and traders set their own hours around market activity. This arrangement can suit people balancing other commitments in and around Bakersfield, CA.
