Maverick Currencies, a proprietary trading firm founded in 1997, is looking for people in and around Lake Charles, LA who want to build a serious trading career without packing up for New York or Chicago. You can do this work from your own home, on your own schedule, right here in southwest Louisiana.
What the role involves
As a Forex & Crypto Trader, you'll learn to analyze currency and crypto markets, develop a trading approach, and execute trades using a funded account structure that can scale up to $400,000. Maverick Currencies provides training and structured resources to help you get there, but once you're active, you operate independently. We don't direct or supervise your day-to-day trading decisions; the results you produce are your own.
No experience required
This position is genuinely entry-friendly. Many traders start with zero background in finance. Training is built to take you from the basics through live trading practices at a pace that fits your life.
How you're paid
This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not a salaried or hourly position. Compensation comes through a profit split ranging from 65% to 90%, and it is entirely performance-based. Profits are never guaranteed, and if you are not trading profitably, this role produces no income. We're upfront about that because we'd rather you go in with realistic expectations than empty promises.
