Maverick Currencies, founded in 1997, is looking for entry-friendly FX Trader candidates based in South Portland, ME. You do not need prior trading experience or a finance background to apply. This is a fully remote opportunity, and we built our training pipeline specifically so people can start a serious trading career from where they already live, without relocating to a financial hub or taking on the cost of living that comes with it.

What the role involves
- Complete our structured training program covering currency market fundamentals, risk management, and trading strategy
- Trade with a funded account, with funding levels that can scale up to $400,000 based on demonstrated performance
- Set your own hours and trading schedule
- Operate independently, developing your own trading decisions and approach over time
How compensation works
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. It is not a salaried or hourly job, and there is no base pay. Compensation is a profit split ranging from 65% to 90%, paid out based on your trading performance. Profits are never guaranteed, and this role carries real financial risk: if your trading is not profitable, you earn no income from it. We are upfront about this because we want candidates who understand exactly what they're signing up for.
