Forex & Crypto Trader - Charleston, SC

Maverick Currencies, founded in 1997, is looking for self-directed individuals in Charleston, SC who want to build a trading routine that fits their life instead of the other way around. This is a remote, flexible-schedule opportunity structured as a 1099 independent contractor role — not a salaried or hourly position.

No prior trading experience is required. We provide structured training to help you learn how to read forex and crypto markets, manage risk, and develop your own approach to the trading day. Many of our traders find that the early morning hours offer the clearest market activity, which means afternoons and evenings can be yours — for family, side projects, or simply disconnecting.

What the role looks like

• Trade forex and crypto markets using your own analysis and decision-making
• Set your own hours — there is no fixed shift or mandatory schedule
• Work from anywhere, with Charleston, SC traders welcome to apply alongside our broader remote community
• Access funded accounts of up to $400,000 as you progress through training and demonstrate consistent decision-making
• Operate independently — Maverick Currencies does not direct or supervise your day-to-day trading activity

Compensation

This role is performance-based. Traders keep a profit split ranging from 65% to 90%, depending on account tier and track record. Profits are never guaranteed, and trading carries real risk — traders who are not profitable do not earn income from this role. We're upfront about this because we want people who understand the nature of trading, not just the appeal of flexibility.
