Currency Trader - Jackson, MS

Maverick Currencies, a proprietary trading firm founded in 1997, is looking for motivated individuals in Jackson, MS to train as currency traders. You do not need prior trading experience or a finance background. You do not need to move to New York, Chicago, or any other finance hub. With a laptop and a reliable internet connection, you can build a serious trading career right here in Jackson, while benefiting from the lower cost of living that this market offers compared to major metro areas.

This is a remote, fully flexible role. You set your own hours and build your trading schedule around your life, not the other way around. Our training program is built for people starting from zero, walking you through the fundamentals of currency markets, risk management, and strategy development at your own pace.

• Learning and applying currency trading strategies using Maverick Currencies' training resources
• Managing your own trading decisions and execution independently
• Working toward qualifying for a funded trading account of up to $400,000
• Operating on a flexible schedule that fits around your current commitments

How compensation works

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. It is not a salaried or hourly job, and there is no guaranteed paycheck. Compensation is performance-based, structured as a profit split ranging from 65% to 90% depending on your track record and account level. Profits are never guaranteed, and trading carries real risk. Traders who are not profitable earn no income from this role. This opportunity is best suited to people who are disciplined, patient, and genuinely interested in learning the craft over time.
